    Birthday Party for Endeavour

    Roger Bannon writes:

Endeavour 102 will be 50 years old in February 2012. I have owned her since September 1983 and 6 others owned her prior to this.
We plan to host a birthday party for Endeavour in the National Yacht Club when everyone who owned and sailed her over the years will be invited to attend.
From speaking with a few of the previous owners, we think that at least 150 different people sailed on her during her lifetime!
I might have to varnish and repaint her for the first time in 12 years as we hope to have her in the dinning room for the event and need her to be looking at her very best.
She was the first Mermaid John Brennan built on his own, under the supervision of the late Johnny Walker and we hope John will be able to attend.
Please let me know if you qualify to participate in this unique celebration.

How about a Mermaid email address?

You can now have an email address incorporating your boat’s name (e.g. Amy@dublinbaymermaid.org). Any emails sent to your Mermaid address will be automatically forwarded to an email address you nominate. If you sell the boat, the address can then be diverted to the new owner.

Contact web@dublinbaymermaid.org to have your email address set up.

Note: email addresses will only be allocated to the registered owner of a boat. The only format that can be used will be the registered current name of the boat.
